Booze, Campaign Laws and Drinking Outdoors
The picture is of the old Kis West Balkán romkert, which closed about a year ago. In light of the fact that the relocated Nagy West Balkán won’t be opening this summer, that spawned the article for Pestiside, which also features the image you see above.

Oh yes, I can’t wait until June 2nd to tell the morning drunks on the bus to please put their drinks away, it’s illegal!!!
I heard somebody saying: “I’m not gonna tell the Arsenal fans not to drink on their way back from the Saturday match”. Surely they can finish their drinks outside the station.
Guess I’ll have to ditch my habit of having a refreshing Flirtini or two as I stand on the stairs of packed double decker bus squashed next to strangers showing off their new ringtones on my way home from work….
But not on the way to work, right? That’s still cool, eh? 
Yeah, I still have my morning cuppa of irish coffee….
From your tag, I thought it was going to be about some law about outdoor drinking proposed during an election. This has happened in London where the newly elected mayor (Boris- Yikes!!) has just banned drinking from public transport starting June 1st. Just banned it??? I always assumed it was banned, and that the type of people drinking wine on the bus at 7 am were just not too concerned with the law. And people are pissed off about it?! Guess I’ll have to ditch my habit of having a refreshing Flirtini or two as I stand on the stairs of packed double decker bus squashed next to strangers showing off their new ringtones on my way home from work…. so much nicer than sitting in a beergarden I always thought.
